Before joining The Heiden Group in September 2004, Mr. Ferrel was Director of Business Development, for AAC Inc. where he focused on large-scale multi-million dollar Federal Government deployments of Voice over IP.

Prior to AAC Inc, Mr. Ferrel served as Director of Advanced IP Sales for Qwest Communications, where he successfully led a specialized 40 person sales team. Mr. Ferrel also managed sales teams at Zephion Networks and UUNET. 

Mr. Ferrel is a certified CCSE (Cisco Certified Sales Expert) and CCSS (Cisco Certified VPN/Security Specialist). A native of Washington DC, he has a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Communications from Marymount University, Arlington, VA.
