About John Egan North Attleboro

John Egan is a math teacher and former coach. He enjoys dining at Bertrucci’s and Panera Bread, both in North Attleboro, Massachusetts, and supporting his grandchildren, who play in various leagues in the town. In addition, John Egan and his wife often attend movies at Showcase Cinema and enjoy visiting Memorial Park.

John Egan currently teaches high school students geometry and algebra at Bishop Stang High School. He previously devoted his career to teaching math at Beckwith Middle School, also in Massachusetts. During his tenure at the middle school, he also served as a math coach, preparing a team of students for an interscholastic competition involving nine area middle schools.

Furthermore, he previously served as a textbook representative for Video Publishing Group in Boston, and as a math teacher at the Rhode Island College Upward Bound Program. An additional position he held was that of a member of the math task force of the Dighton-Rehoboth School District. His responsibilities included representing Beckwith Middle School, working to align the curriculum with NCTM standards, and reviewing and selecting appropriate textbooks.

Prior to starting his teaching career in the area near N. Attleboro, he attended Merrimack College in North Andover. He graduated from the institution with a bachelor of arts in mathematics.
