A veteran family and criminal law attorney, John Cutchin maintains a practice in Newton, North Carolina. He concentrates in family financial mediation, family law, criminal cases, personal injury compensation, and estate law. He belongs to several professional organizations, including the Catawba County and Lincoln County Bar Associations and the North Carolina Bar Association. He limits his practice to litigation in Catawba and Lincoln Counties. Outside of his legal work, John Cutchin has served on his local chamber of commerce and the Newton Merchants Association. John Cutchin donates his expertise to Sipe's Orchard Home, a nonprofit that provides social services to families and children. He also assists his church, the Episcopal Church of St. Peter by-the-Lake, as a parttime Sunday School teacher and member of the Fiscal Advisory Committee. In his spare time, John Cutchin enjoys literature and movies, and he goes boating regularly. He also engages in promotional work for the Half Dozen Brass Band, an Athens, Georgia, New Orleans Jazz ensemble.
