Assigned as a Technical Analyst in the Commodities Trading Industry – Duke Energy to help maintain/develop a financial application (1.5 years)•    Developed and modified existing PL/SQL packages in Oracle to accommodate changes in business logic.•    Ran and managed production jobs in SQL Server. Timely completion of this work was critical to the Risk Management business community.•    Assist testing an automated application to process trades from trader to invoice and payments by writing and executing test cases using the Mercury Test Director tool.Assigned as a Technical Analyst in the development of data export functionality for a custom financial application for GE Money. (9 months)•    Wrote SQL queries using the PL/SQL tool to produce several hundred custom export files. This included writing complex SQL queries involving multiple table joins, debugging existing SQL, help identify issues and assist in writing up best SQL practices for the team. Assigned as a Quality Assurance Analyst for a Health Insurance company- Blue Cross Blue Shield initiative to align 19 insurance plans data into one central repository for benchmarking analytics. It is expected to be able to support 110 million insured lives. The goal of the project was to create an intelligence database that must adhere to applicable standards, contain accurate data and be available and accessible in order to deliver the anticipated business benefits to the participating Plans. (1.5 years)

•    Led Integration Testing team to ensure all components being installed in the Integration Test environment worked with each other and meet the business requirements through a series of end-to-end tests. Managed to run the project on a tight time schedule and successfully integrated even last minute client requests to overall satisfaction.•    Created test plans; executed test cases, verified and documented results for the ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load) process acquiring strong technical skills such as SQL, UNIX, DB2 and DataStage.•    Assist System Testing team to ensure each component worked properly as designed. Ran processes using shell scripts in UNIX. Performed Data Quality check using SQL to assure correct data was being populated by the ETL process. Load data into the warehouse using the Ascential DataStage tool.Assigned as a Quality Assurance Analyst on a Pharmacy System Implementation project for Kroger.
