Help assess repair/replacement parts needed for paint booths, paint equipment, lasers, lathes, mills, rollers, presses, welders plant wide including forklifts and company vehicles. Source  parts from original equipment manufacturer's and alternative sources. Assist proto-type and engineering with projects in sourcing items required for projects as well as in plant modifications for work area's, new building addition tooling, cranes, hoist's etc. Keep records for hazardous materials, waste generation reports for EPA and DNR. Keep records for any modifications for OSHA.  Order consumables for several production lines in the plant. Coordinate in plant repairs from outside vendors including shipping out items for off site repairs.

Plant Superintendent Nashua Division

Production welder. I transferred to maintenance for a brief time and then to tooling for assembly and welding of jigs and fixtures. I worked with the lean mfg engineer's on spaghetti charts, fixture location and design. I was then asked to work on special projects for new customers and one off items. I obtained a level II magnetic particle inspection certification for several lines we produced that required MPT inspection and also operated the stress relief ovens. I accepted the position of plant superintendent with a staff of 110 personnel at the Nashua facility in November of 2007. This division supported the Waverly fabrication plant in receiving all raw materials for the, saws, plasma tables, shot blast, presses and sub weldment kit building. In addition to that, we built one model frame for Terex crane along with several weldments. We received all items from the Fab division for shot blast, paint, any final assembly and inspection requirements included shipping of all completed units.I was also an internal ISO and OSHA audit team member.

Independent owner operator of 2 franchise automotive parts stores. Daily sales, route sales and purchasing for both stores. Inventory control and dispatching of hot shot delivery drivers.  I operated both stores for 5 years and consolidated to one store and added an overseas internet sales division. First months sales were $35k and the last years sales were 2.3 million. The business started with myself, one employee and one delivery truck and ended with 13 trucks and 25 employees. I sold the business to a major warehouse distributor to relocate back to Iowa.

Prior to current work history I spent several years in the automotive field as a technician and then service manager of a dealership. Previous manufacturing and supervisory experience.
