Managing IT in 5 branches; monitoring technology and staff to oversee policies and procedures are met. Successful migration of all workstations within Zenith Bank Achimota Branch from Novel to Active directory.
Responsibilities: Works with management to provide ongoing monitoring, performance tuning implementation, and fault root cause analysis for systems under management. Ensures Service Level Agreements are met. Communicates effectively verbally, and in written form. Carries and responds to off- hours communications device, in order to provide24x7support for systems under management. Proficient working with different types of operating systems such as Android, Microsoft, Linux, Unix, DOS, etc and understands software to be installed on computers. Install, configure and maintain personal computers, file servers and other related equipments and systems; also upgrade and configure drives for data acquisition, cd rom units, printers and related equipments. Perform software and application installations and upgrades. Plan and implement network security including managing host security, file permissions, backup and disaster recovery. Provides and receives cross-discipline training in order to ensure maximum availability of systems under management. Maintain confidentiality with regards to the information being processed, stored or accessed by the network. Provides verbal and written reports to the Head of IT regarding the performance and processes within the branches. Assists in the compilation of management and executive reports on a periodic basis.
