I received my BA from the University of Oxford in the subject "Economics and Management". Since then I've worked as a software developer - something that I have taught myself. In my free time I read and write a lot besides following an array of hobbies and pastimes.

After working for Hanse Ventures, I worked as a freelancer mainly doing web application development for clients as well as working on open source projects of my own. My work mostly involves Ruby, Javascript and RoR in addition to the  'standard' front-end  technologies.

Klinikumplus GmbH, Hanse Ventures (Rails Team)

I worked as a Rails developer at "Klinikumplus", which is a venture of the Hanse Ventures incubator in Hamburg, Germany. The application development we did was very Rails intensive with occasional front-end work. Among other things we created an internal CRM.

Internship in the International Team

Grameen Bank is the world’s largest Microcredit bank. As an international intern, I mostly functioned like an internal research assistant and hence, was able to get acquainted with many of the numerous operations that Grammen Bank is composed of.

PWC's transaction services are similar to M&A operations. I worked in the division for the financial services industry. For the most part I did extensive Industry analysis, created detailed profiles of financial companies and institutions and worked on sell-side pitches.
