  • Supervised production of 20 + feature film projects
  • Served as liaison between filmmakers and the Studio
  • Interfaced with every aspect of the corporate structure for filmmaking: script department, studio finance and estimating, legal and business affairs, labor relations, insurance and risk management, distribution, marketing, publicity, international distribution, video and ancillary markets, CEO and CFO of 20th Century Fox, and News Corp. (parent company).
  • Worked with three different presidents & administrations during the 5-year period.
  • Served as member of senior management advisory team reporting to Chairman and CFO.

  • Emmy Award in 2000 for Oprah Winfrey Presents “Tuesdays with Morrie”.
  • Awarded the Humanitas Award in 2000 for Oprah Winfrey Presents “Tuesdays with Morrie”. This award honors film and television for “stories that affirm the human person, probe the meaning of life, and enlighten the use of human freedom."
  • Inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2008, University of Southern Mississippi School of Mass Communication and Journalism, honoring “Mississippians who have distinguished themselves in film and broadcasting”.
  • Received the Key to the City (Natchez, MS) in 2005 for disaster relief work following Hurricane Katrina.
  • Created the Camp for the Performing Arts, a Boys & Girls Clubs of the Miss-Lou summer program.
