· Assisting stores in achieving and exceeding objectives in all aspects of the business including Inventory Management, Product Procurement, Merchandising Standards, Human Resources, Financial Analysis, Store Planning, Loss Prevention, Recruiting, and Training, in a multi-unit environment.

· Recruiting of new prospective franchisees.

· Increasing efficiency and profitability in all day to day Operational activities.

· Working with all regional team members to develop and implement Shrink reducing methods for all stores across the region.

· Assisting stores in forecasting and implementing budgeting procedures.

· Assisting stores in recruiting, hiring, and training of Store Managers and other key staff members.

· All aspects of design and construction of the physical plant from concept to completion including customer flow and workflow analysis.

Key achievements:

· Successfully aided stores in consistently achieving an average of 5% sales growth over the past 5 years in a region of 75 stores, while increasing sales margins.

· Implemented shrink reducing policies and procedures that reduced store loss an average of two percentage points per store over the past 5 years.

· Chosen as regional representative to help develop nationwide Best Practices and POS implementation piece for the national strategic plan in 2010-2011.

· Completed Architectural layouts for 60 of the 75 regional stores in AutoCAD format for company database.

· Developed in conjunction with the store owner, merchandise and fixture layout plans for over 50 stores to help maximize product placement and customer traffic.

· Coordinated openings of, and was responsible for, overall store design of 16 stores and implemented numerous renovations to others.

·Developed and introduced new training modules to help Store Managers achieve Operational Excellence in Hiring, Merchandising, Inventory Management and Loss Prevention.

· Implemented, designed and produced Regional Communication Newsletter.

·Responsible for overall store opening, fixturing and merchandising of 35k square foot store and did so with least payroll percentage in the company.

·Responsible for recruiting, hiring and training off all staff members.

·Responsible for overall store opening, fixturing and merchandising of new company-wide, smaller concept prototype store and maintaining budgets throughout.

Key achievements:

·Opened and managed three successful big box retail outlets that have consistently performed above budgeted projections.

·Participated in Disney training for all Store Directors across the country.

·Consistently achieved double digit sales increases for 4 consecutive years and remained in top ten of stores with sales increases for 6 years across the country.

·Successfully achieved and continuously surpassed all budget projections including Sales, Shrinkage, and Payroll.

·Was selected from all other Store Directors from across the country to be a part of a new company-wide change management team instituting new ideas for sales growth in 1999.

Human resources

I assist all stores in following proper Human Resource guidlines and procedures including screening and hiring properly, training on everything from Orientation, Inventory Management, Customer Service, Financial Analysis, and all aspects Operationally of the business. I also counsel stores on disciplinary action procedures when needed.

Store Design

I assist all stores in all aspects of design and construction of the physical plant from concept to completion including customer flow and workflow analysis. I have worked on new build tilt-up construction projects to existing major renovation projects to stores. My work includes AutoCAD drawings, merchandise plans, and workflow analysis, exterior signage, and working with the owners to secure leasing agreements.

Loss Prevention

Currently I am the Loss Prevention Expert for the region which consists of 75 stores. I conduct training sessions for the stores including shoptheft prevention, cash handling, audit functions, and robbery survival. I am certified in the Wicklander Zulawski Interrogation course.

Objective

My career bjective is to obtain a position whereby my skills and acumen can be utilized to assist in the success and long term viability of my employer.

Interest

I enjoy staying fit and excercise is a part of my daily regimen. I also enjoy snorkeling, all team sports, and carpentry around the house. My family remains my backbone and spending quality time with them is key in keeping my life balance.  I try and spend as much time as possible involved with the community helping out in any way I can time permitting.
