Joely Sturner is currently the Vice President of Sales at Sheralven Enterprises Ltd., a distribution, warehousing, and sales company that specializes in cosmetics and fragrances. Miss Sturner serves in the company's Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, office and is responsible for generating new business in chain/drug, mass, off-price retailers and e-commerce retailers. As an expert in the industry, she recommends products and services by evaluating marketplace and competitive pricing. Prior to joining Sheralven Enterprises, Joely Sturner worked at Quality Fragrance Group and Scents of Worth, both niche businesses under the parent company, Perfumania, in Sunrise Florida. For over a decade, under Scents of Worth, she was a National Account Manager for retail chains within the company's Consignment Lease program. Working directly with the buying offices, she acted as the category manager, placed monthly replenishment orders, and developed marketing and promotional plans, consistently increasing sales volume while working within budget. Similar to her current responsibilities at Sheralven, under Quality Fragrance Group, she identified potential business opportunities to source designer fragrances to national retailers, chai/drug, mass, and grocery chains nationwide.
From 1999 to 2000, Joely Sturner served as a Sales Coordinator at French Fragrances, Inc., in Miami Lakes, Florida (now Elizabeth Arden) . As a Sales Coordinator, Ms. Sturner worked directly with over 100 independent sales representatives by assisting them with order entry, sales analysis, coordinated collateral/display items, marketing literature, presentations for large retailers. She also was a Regional Beauty Technician at English Ideas, where she helped manage the launch of new cosmetic brands with such retailers as Dillard’s and Sephora. Joely Sturner started her career in the field of cosmetic sales as a Sales Coordinator at Estée Lauder Travel Retail, which supplied the brand to duty free stores within domestic airports, the Caribbean, cruise ships, and in-flight representation. She was promoted to Assistant Training Manager and became integral in developing marketing presentations, organizing training seminars, and training beauty advisors on brands and sales strategies. Ms. Sturner has a Bachelor of Science in Communications from the University of South Florida in Tampa. In her free time, she enjoys working out, riding her bike, going to the beach, traveling, and spending time with her family.
