I am currently studying Fashion and Retail Management at The Art Institute of California. I have also been working in retail and doing visual displays for five years. Working in retail I am set to meet certain deadlines and arrive with my work completed.
I am certain that I would be an asset to your company because I have several years of experience and I will work at my best to attract consumers. My experience comes from two years of being a sales associate, and three years of being an area visual merchandiser at Hugo Boss. As a salesperson, I ensure that each customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment; which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer; maintaining solid product knowledge, and all other aspects of customer service.
As an area visual merchandiser, I contribute to the advertising, marketing, and sales efforts at Hugo Boss by developing and taking charge of the aesthetics of the store and it’s merchandise. As an area visual merchandiser, I oversee six stores located in various parts of the West coast. I am responsible for merchandising strategies by creating and maintaining visual displays in store windows and on the sales floor. By this I also contribute to the profitability of the store with my merchandise handling, replenishment, and inventory control efforts.
