About Joe Griffeth

As a managing director with the GE Capital Corporate Finance group for nearly two decades, Joe Griffeth engages with advisors, management professionals, and owners associated with large- and middle-market enterprises. Joe Griffeth typically arranges asset-based and cash-flow leveraged financing transactions in the $30 million to $1 billion range. He is experienced in working with clients in a variety of industries, including forest products, transportation, and building supplies. Experienced in sales and marketing, he has helped his GE Capital unit secure many of its largest clients.

Mr. Griffeth’s past experience includes a position as vice president of risk and sales at the predecessor to Bank of America. From 1986 to 1996, he underwrote commercial credit and was a credit manager of the Factoring Group responsible for both North and South Carolina territory. Within this unit, he was the manager of the Highly Leveraged Transaction Credit Group.

Starting in Atlanta, Mr. Griffeth eventually moved to Charlotte and opened a loan production office. Active in the Davidson, North Carolina community, Joe Griffeth and his family have been members of the Davidson College Presbyterian Church for 20 years.
