I have dedicated my life to serving the public in disseminating information in all forms of media: print, radio, and television. I graduated from The College of Wooster in 2005 with that goal – assist people and serve them by giving them the knowledge that they need to improve their lives in an unbiased and straightforward manner. Throughout each of my endeavors, I have demonstrated a proven work ethic that is anchored in my trustworthiness, honesty, and dedication to serving my communities. Going beyond expectations, despite demanding workloads, is also a quality for which I have been recognized by not only my supervisors, but by my peers as well.
As a journalist, I have grown the reach and position of my outlets wherever I have worked. As a producer, the shows I worked on had growth during sweeps periods -- most recently, my show I worked on during the November 2008 Sweeps Period was only one of three at the station I was working for. As an assignment editor and reporter, I built strong links throughout the community, which helped me tell the most complete stories for my audience. This resulted in growth in readers, listeners, viewers, and visitors to our website.
In my latest endeavor, I find myself to be the lion in winter -- a freelance writer, hoping to stay in my craft as a writer, video producer, audio producer, and storyteller above all. As a producer, I add content for websites -- from videos, to copy, I do it all with a track record of proven results. I do this to keep my skills sharp and stay relevant in an ever-changing world. With technology coming around us, it is my job to keep ahead of the curve, and deliver you the best results with the latest tools, bringing you the best work in an efficient amount of time.
My skills I have built on my own and through my positions make me a willing and available storyteller for your needs. From technical writing, to video and audio commercials, to stories for CNN, I am a young expert looking to start again in a field that I love. What can I do for you today?
