Responsible for marketing Waterloo to local, regional and national sports organizations to position Waterloo as the host city for their tournaments and events.  I was also responsible for marketing Waterloo to meeting and convention organizers to choose Waterloo as the host city for their conventions and meetings.  My responsibilities also included assisting in the coordination of Convention and Visitors Bureau activities, revising and redesigning marketing material for convention and sports related prospects, and served as the contact for events in progress.  While with the Waterloo CVB I also laid the ground work for establishing the now fully functional Cedar Valley Sports Committee which was established to give financial and general support to local sports organizations to assist them in hosting events in Waterloo that generate hotel/motel stays.
