Follow all inspection processes and prints for incoming, in-process & final inspections on products and raw materials. Inspect using both sampling and 100% methods. Use GD&T techniques to inspect using micrometer, caliper, ring gauges, pin gauges and hi pot testers. Use a microscope to visually inspect products for imperfection and non-conformance to standards. Release incoming raw materials by acquiring outside documentation & ensuring in house testing has been completed. Release approved components to the inventory group. Inspect completed Immunoassay kits to ensure they contain correct components and meet company standards. Maintain company Raw Material and other documents and revise as needed. Work with other departments and other companies to coordinate launching new product lines. Archive and maintain completed Raw Material Inspection records and Kit Packing documents. Participate in meetings to improve manufacturing, inventory and kit packing discrepancies and help come up with useful corrective actions.
