Skills

Skills

Russian

Participated in the first two foundational courses of Russian senior year of college at West Chester University.  Full comprehension of the Cyrillic alphabet, basic conversational skills, and beginner reading capabilities.

Leadership

As a natural leader, I tend to take charge of chaotic situations, organizing them and delegating tasks as necessary to accomplish the goal at hand.  In my supervision of interns and volunteers for BuildaBridge, I see my role as not just a leader; rather, I adhere more to the theory of followership.  My leadership role at BuildaBridge allows me to set examples by way of action, encouraging those under me, and assisting others in their learning and professional development experiences.  Leading children in camp or after school program settings domestically and abroad allowed me to develop a soft demeanor in providing both instruction and discipline in an encouraging manner.

German

Taking German in high school and college laid the foundation for my German intensive course in Vienna, Austria.  Working cross culturally three summers in a row in Vienna afforded me the experience to utilize German on a daily basis, building vocab, conversational, reading and writing skills.

Coordination

The organizational skills I possess depend on my ability to coordinate people, events, schedules, and physical spaces.  My work at the Souderton Rehab Center enabled me to solely coordinate incoming and outgoing patients in a timely and efficient manner for two physical therapists while maintaining daily office operations, facility upkeep and administrative duties.  The volunteer experiences, locally and abroad, provided hands-on experience in coordinating activities for 50 plus children, communities, performances, and teams of volunteers.  Currently I coordinate the three programs of BuildaBridge International, all of the daily office operations, fund raising efforts, and volunteer coordination (recruitment, training and placement).

Organization

Purposefully organized in my personal life, work place and social settings.  Each job and volunteer experience required attention to detail and organization in order to complete the job and sustain activities to keep things running smoothly.
