Summary

I like to volunteer with Habitat for Humanity and I am a part of a few groups in my church where I attend regularly.

I have spent the past 18 years working for IBM through a contract with Manpower. I began working in an administrative support role which grew into support for marketing teams. From this I eventually went on to become a part of IBM's Proposal Support Center which became a part of IBM's main marketing support team responding to RFI's, RFP's, RFQ's and all other bid documents.

Part of IBM Deal Hub team supporting marketing teams to respond to RFP, RFI, RFQ and other bid documents by fulfilling most roles associated with a Proposal Manager for creating the final deliverable documents. Worked with collaboration tools like: Lotus Notes, IBM Team Rooms, Bid Builder databases and Lotus Connections. I also managed online submission tools like Ariba and eProcuri.

Results:

  • Learned new process for responding to proposals like TPI. (Technology Partners International)
  • Became Certified in MSOffice an Expert in MSWord.
  • Created databases and spreadsheets used to manage opportunities.

Lead a group of administrative and support professionals at IBM Business Support Center (BSC). In 1995 we became a part of the IBM Sales Productivity Center (SPC). Our team supported anyone in IBM's marketing and sales divisions. We created slides, graphics and supported proposals for marketing teams.
