Volunteering

I have volunteered with multiple organizations such as Salvation Army, UCP, and hospital work. I collected money and donated it to the Salvation Army and United Cerebral Palsy which is one of the nation's largest health charities. United Cerebral Palsy affiliates are leaders in providing innovative programs and services to children and adults with intellectual or physical disabilities. I also volunteered at the  Regional Medical Center in Anniston, Alabama. I worked under the clinical nutritionist to help service the patients.

I completed general office tasks when directed to do so by a member of my high schools faculty. These general office tasks included: filing and organizing students permanent records, running errands, answering phones, and secretarial duties.

I provided elementary school students with resources to help them achieve educational and personal goals. I sat down with students to tutor them in any subject which they need assistance and discuss their concerns related to school projects, family, and friends. I also supervised recess and recreational activities.

Yarns by Homeplace Farm

While working at Yarns by Homeplace farm, I took inventory, worked the cash register, and took care of closing duties. I also assisted with the dying of new yarns and labeling them.

Homeplace Farm

While working at the Homeplace Farm, I fed animals, distributed required shots, helped with medical issues, and worked with general farm maintenance.
