  • Developed strategic direction and objectives of financial accounting, planning, analysis, budgeting and reporting processes, including supporting information systems;
  • Ensured corporate accounting books and records meet regulatory, statutory, and tax requirements (i.e., Conglomerate expertise in U.S. GAAP, FASB, EITFs, SOPs, SEC Guidance, Fiducia Reporting);
  • Provided direction and oversight in the development, implementation, and communication of accounting policies/procedures, ensuring control processes and systems exist to monitor compliance;
  • Directed and aligned IT function to support business needs and managed auditor relationships;
  • Managed the reporting, cash flow, forecasting and month-end functions for the business, including the development and preparation of annual business operating plans and forecasts.

  • Financial audit oversight for Americas region (~$30 Billion Business with 100K Employees);
  • Extensive US GAAP experience in handling complex accounting matters and business deals for large multi-national public companies (i.e., IFRS, FASBs, FINs, SOPs, SAB, EITFs);
  • As a champion in financial reporting transparency, governance, risk and control, spearheaded the development and implementation of US Audit Committee Guidelines and Procedures;
  • Developed a high performance team that is talented, committed, adoptive, innovative and supportive to an ever-changing business environment;
  • Leader in deployment and sustainability of regional audit strategies, practices and procedures for the implementation and compliance of Sarbanes-Oxley Act requirements;
  • Developed a Six Sigma Project with respect to our people, processes and product, which resulted on the highest possible score under an Independent Peer Review and the IIA;
  • Supported strategic transactions and compliance investigations, including acquisitions and divestitures primarily on behalf of Siemens Groups and Companies.
