Supporting Summary

Having 13 years working experience within the demanding environment of a professional kitchen, my organization and priority management skills are exceptional. My most recent employment has taken full advantage of my extensive IT knowledge as well as my inter-personal skills.

Personal self-development has given me the opportunity to focus on my passion for computing, and has given me an extensive knowledge base of not only Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, One-Note, Visio, Explorer & Outlook) but also many industry standard software, such as Adobe (Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, After Effects, Dreamweaver, Flash, Flex & In-design), I also have developed MS Windows programming skills, from DOS to Java. My vast computer literacy skills are vital in helping with various administrative duties required by my father's small business.

Responsibilities throughout my career have consisted of extensive communication with various internal and external entities, from frequent verbal communication with Supply Sales Representatives to menu planning and presenting financial forecast reports to Management. My interest in IT has allowed to me to develop my competency in written communication through electronic mail.

Being a team player within a structured environment, has allowed me to build on my existing personal abilities as well as advance many of my employable skills which will be beneficial in succeeding within the required role. My pro-active approach to work helps identify problems before they arise and allows measures to be put in place to avoid crisis situations. In the event that a crisis situation does develop, my initiative and logical thinking allows me to seek guidance where required and resolve the situation effectively and with ease.

Throughout my career, a professional maturity and flexible working etiquette have been a crucial element of my achievements to date. This is demonstrated in my interaction with various people, from professionals - suppliers, care managers & sales personal, to the more vulnerable client groups - service users and relatives.

My experience within the Care Field has allowed me the opportunity on a daily basis to deal with vulnerable client groups ranging from infants to frail elderly and clients with varied and vast mental health conditions. This interaction has enabled me to develop sound communication skills and the ability to identify situations, which require a more empathetic or compassionate approach.

I believe that many of the skills and abilities obtained throughout my career to date are transferable and will allow me to be successful in any role I undertake.
