I am taking part in several projects of productivity and efficiency increase using tools like 6σ, TPM, Lean and WCOM. These projects are focused in the optimization of the efficiency of the machinery and process directly responsible for the production of the diverse factories. Projects in BSH Santander factory, several factories of Saint Gobain group and in the Nestle La Penilla factory in Santander

AEMFRA is an association of companies that manufacture or represent railway maintenance vehicles in the Spanish market. Aemfra represents this group of companies in their relation with the administration and railway authorities in order to maintain good relationship among the companies in the association and the above mentioned administration bodies

Maquivias manufactures and sells special machinery and vehicles for railroad track lying and maintenance. Revenues are around 6 MEuro with a workforce of 40 persons. Sales volume has tripled and workforce doubled since I took charge of the company.

The machinery and track vehicles are desing in house by a team of proficient engineers and are developed according to international standards of quality and performance. The development internationally of this company and the development of the business in different areas related to the railway business is, as managing director, is my prime occupation to this date.

  • Responsible for sales and marketing of ACTA products to the General Industry in the Chinese Market.
  • The main taks for this period of time was to start up the General Industry Business Line creating and training a team that would cover all of China, meanwhile developing the market and distributor network.
  • Full P&L responsibility for the business line, local and consolidated to factory.

  • Responsibility on budget and targets and P&L for the department.

  • The main functions is to attend the key accounts, mainly automotive industry, aerospace and white goods, making the maintenance and after sales service.
  • Sale of Service Products: Maintenance contracts, Technical training, Certification and calibration of equipments, ...
  • Help to implement service workshop in our distributor network, aiming for a better assistance to our smaller customers.
  • Management of the budget and targets, and the personnel of the businss unit. Full P&L responsibility for the business unit.
