Working with a private equity firm as a sponsered CEO starting in mid 2005, developed industry thesis, identified acquisition prospects, negotiated purchase, and led the company through the change from entrepreneurial ownership to professional management.  Acquired MPD in March of 2007.  MPD is an East Coast based provider of direct mail services to companies who rely on direct response marketing for their sales efforts. The firm prints, personalizes, mails, and tracks direct marketing pieces for both Fortune 1000 and mid-market firms.
