Attending Ball State University, I gained experience in the digital realm of design development and presentation with a strong focus on cultural responsibility, context, tectonics, social master planning strategies, and sustainability. Connecting to local architecture firms allowed me to be aware of existing problems and design issues that are found in the professional industry. Designs ranged from Brownsfield Riverfront development in Pittsburgh, PA, Indianapolis, IN transportation center, to facility design and planning for The Hawaii Institute for Marine Biology.
Participating in the AIAS Ball State University Chapter and also Emerging Green Builders of USGBC Indiana, I was involved in sustainability education and regional networking with local architecture firms.
