  • 11 Keynote presentations including Eric Schmidt, Fred Smith, Elon Musk, Sheryl Sandberg, and Alan Mullaly
  • 174 Panel speakers including UPS CFO Kurt Kuehn and FCC Commissioner Jessica Rosenworcel
  • Designed the custom


  • Drafted the January 31, 2012 letter from Sen. Baucus to President Obama requesting a “Call to Action” in the Bakken
  • Drafted the July 27, 2011 letter from Sen. Baucus to President Obama requesting a quick response from SBA, HUD, FEMA, Bureau of Reclamation, and USDA to flood damage in Montana


Montana Jobs Economic Engine Initiative

  • Recognized 40 businesses for adding jobs during the great recession Call to Action in The Bakken Initiative
  • Drafted a letter to President Obama requesting that he use every available resource to respond to the urgent community infrastructure, education, and safety needs in the Bakken region
  • 30 subsequent press releases acknowledging President Obama and others for responding to the call to action

  • Keynote at 13 public events to explain the "Stimulus" package to Montana constituents
  • Panel Speaker at the 2013 Montana Business Success Symposium

American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), Public Law 111-5

  • The US Senate Finance Committee staff delegate to the ‘committee of committees’ responsible for developing and drafting the senate bill
  • Represented finance committee jurisdiction that constituted 60% ($478 billion) of the $787 billion package
  • Authored and published the U.S. Senate Finance Committee American Recovery and Reinvestment Act Tax Summary Authored and published the Montana Resource Guide, American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009

Small Business JOBS Act of 2010, Public Law 111-240

  • Finance Committee Staffer in charge of developing, drafting, passage and oversight of the law and its programs
  • Created the State Small Business Credit Initiative (SSBCI) and the Small Business Lending Fund (SBLF)
  • Attended the White House signing ceremony as Senator Baucus’ representative

Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008 (EESA), created the Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP) Public Law 110-343

  • Created the office of “SIGTARP” through Sec. 121 of the law
  • Achieved original insertion of the language in all-night negotiations with staff representing Speaker Pelosi, Congressman Rangel, Congressman Frank, and Senator Dodd
  • Negotiated insertion of Baucus language into the House bill despite Speaker Pelosi being initially against the provision and favoring her proposal of a congressional oversight board that would retroactively review decision-making.
  • The $50 million SIGTARP program was led by Neil Barofsky (until March of 2011) and is responsible for 14 fraud convictions, $550 million in fraud losses avoided and $150 million in fraudulent earnings recovered

Negotiated senate passage of 3 provisions by unanimous consent, Public Law 111-250

  • Additional $150 million for SBA 7(a) loan program subsidies
  • National flood insurance program extension
  • Satellite television extension

Rural Access to Credit Act of 2010, S. 3085

  • Proposed and drafted the Act that improves the USDA Business and Industry Loan Program

Entertainment Capital, llc and Spirit Bear Productions, llc – live event and television production including the 2002 Las Vegas Stampede and 80 national television credits on networks like CBS Sports, ESPN 2, and VS

Tradewinds, llc – renewable energy development and advocacy. Successfully lobbied for a sales tax exemption in Utah & secured a 73 megawatt Power Purchase Agreement

Rocky Mountain Soil Conservation Group– for profit, retail and wholesale landscaping products supplier. Sold more than 60,000 trees RimRock Ranches – 2,400 acre agriculture operation
