AtWork Personnel Services is a national franchise organization in the field of technical, professional and light industrial staffing.    As a start-up franchisee, I grew from scratch to $1M+ in annual sales  even during the difficult post 9/11 and dot com bust years.  I personally landed contracts with big and small companies alike, such as Home Depot, Good Year Tire distribution center, Sears appliance repair,  Siemens, CAS Systems, Harbor Plastics, PowerLight Corporation, to name just a few.  I sold my book of business in 2004 to another franchisee and concentrated full time on my financial planning practice.

I started as an accounting supervisor in what was then Pacific Telephone.  I quickly moved to the  computer field, holding positions in mainframe technical support, LAN administration, and desktop support.  My last 10 years with the phone company was in Information Services, holding technical manager positions in voicemail operations.

A successful business career has finally given me the freedom to focus my energy in a field that I am truly passionate about, which is alternative energy.  I am seeking a more responsible role in the sales and marketing of solar energy systems.   Almost 20 years of experience in consultative  sales of financial services and insurance products has given me the ability to simplify intangible concepts that's easily understood by the average prospect.  This experience has also honed my sales CLOSING abilities.  With my background as a Certified Financial Planner, I can also clearly explain the concept of payback and return on investment.

My own house has a 2.1 kw solar system which has been online since January, 2003.  I have data to prove the advantages of "going solar".  I am up to date with the latest developments in this industry including incentive programs.  In September, 2008, I completed the 6-hour California Solar Initiative Workshop given by PG&E.

I have recently converted a classic sports car into an electric vehicle.   It gets its fuel from the sun.  This project car has been featured in newspaper articles as well as on television, most recently on CBS, ABC and CNN.  My commute is practically paid for by my rooftop solar system.
