“Jim Leasure was the Lead Operations contact for many of the projects that I managed at AOL. Jim's attention to detail in the planning stages of a project ensured operational aspects were not overlooked. When a crisis did arise, Jim was level-headed and easy-going which allowed the situation to be resolved with minimal turmoil. Jim understood the importance of operational processes and guidelines, yet understood business needs; therefore, he was open to discussing options which benefited the business without compromising operational integrity. Jim is great to work with and always a welcome addition to any project/team! I would gladly accept the offer to work with Jim again.”

“I worked directly with Jim Leasure at AOL for over 10 years. Jim is an extremely detail oriented person and would be a great asset to any team. Jim managed several projects in our group and worked with several key players within the company to help move projects along. We worked in a very fast paced environment where nothing is constant except change and Jim was always able to excel no matter what task was given to him.”

“Jim was our Operations technical lead responsible for managing our Production BEA Weblogic environment. Duties included detection/correction of system issues, monitoring system/application performance metrics, installing and configuring complex application plaforms, deploying Java and C++ applications and adhering to and managing security polices. He did an excellent job representing his team at project review and metrics review meetings building strong relationships with Dev, QA and Project Managment teams. His proactive approach to automating operational processes and improving application/system performance were invaluable to my development team. He has very strong leadership skills enabling him to function as a team manager or an individual contributor. I would hire him in a heartbeat.”

“I was Jim's immediate manager for 2 years at AOL. Jim is an extremely hard and dedicated worker, always committed to doing what's best for the business. He has a deep technical knowledge of web application infrastructure, system architecture, and unix/linux operating systems, and is quick to learn new technologies as required. In a 24x7 support environment that was often filled with technical challenges, Jim could always be counted on to provide consistent, reliable support, and could troubleshoot problems with a level head and clarity of thought. Besides his technical strengths, Jim is easygoing, works well with people of all sorts, and is frequently lauded by colleagues and teammates.”

“Jim was a valuable project team member on many projects that I managed at AOL. He was involved in the projects in the planning stages and ensured that operational aspects were not overlooked. In an instance in which we had a memory leak issue with WebLogic, Jim took the lead to solve the problem. He demonstrated his ability to plan work, leverage resources, manage risk, and communicate status. Jim is a great addition to any project team and I would love the opportunity to work with him again.”
