About Me

I am currently a second year Economics and Management (BSc) student at The University of Bristol.  I consider myself to be an extremely enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking individual.  I am confident with meeting new people and find it easy to build a good rapport with either customers or fellow students very quickly due to a friendly and reassuring first impression. My previous retail experience means I am able to deliver excellent customer service and can adapt and strive in stressful and fast-paced situations. Aside from employment, my academic successes not only highlight my hard working attitude, but also show the thirst for knowledge, and desire to excel.  Although I am strongly independent, I would say my best quality would be that I am a people person who is exceptionally driven and motivated by working as part of a team.

Topman, Sales Adviser

Churchill Square Shopping Centre, Brighton

My time at Topman taught me many new skills, particularly in organisation and customer service which are both key aspects of the job; the role greatly improved not only my self confidence but also my confidence in being able to deal with all sorts of situations, whether colleague, product or customer related.

The great service and skills that I regularly demonstrated during my time at Topman were rewarded by my manager, on the 29th of July 2015: I was awarded a Certificate of Achievement and was signed off as an Advanced Member, something I am extremely proud of.

Academic year 2015/16                                                          2:1

Last June I completed my first year of my degree and strongly believe studying economics has helped me to cultivate a keen and analytical mind, with good problem solving skills and the ability to think not only logically but quickly.  Studying at a prestigious University like Bristol not only highlights my clear ambition and determination to strive for success in everything I do but also shows key skills such as work ethic and time management, which are greatly needed in any field of employment.

Hobbies and Interests

One of my true hobbies has always been football, I've played for many teams and represented my local county Sussex. This taught me the requisite of teamwork, to meticulously strive for perfection, and how to perform under great pressure in front of large crowds. Other hobbies include music; I have played electric guitar since I was 10 as it helps me unwind after a stressful day, I have been in a few bands with my friends and have even played a few gigs including Brighton's Concorde 2. I have recently started music production, and have recorded a few songs in which I have made during my free time in my bed room.
