Summary

I am a college graduate of UC Davis with a Bachelors in Optical Engineering. Currently I am doing research with Professor Brian Kolner in his Laser and Electro-Optics Research Group. I am getting hands on experience working with a Ti:Sapphire laser and other optical equipment. We are doing research in phase noise analysis and timing jitter of the laser. My goal is to work for a company either in research and development or in fabrication and design of optical equipment. in either case I would like to pursue a job that is both challenging with rewarding accomplishments.

Richard Fizell

Professor Fizell is the former chair of the Physics department of San Joaquin Delta College.  We collaborated together after I transfered to UC Davis for an introductory program of Optical Engineering.  Both Dr. Fizell and Dr. Yin Yeh have been in collaboration to extend and Optics Program for San Joaquin Delta College.

Hector Baldis

Professor Baldis is the head advisor for the Department of Applied Science at UC Davis.  He was in charge of our Senior Design course, which worked alongside a research project in developing and all-reflective spatial heterodyne spectrometer.

Yin Yeh

Professor Yen is the chair of the Department of Applied Science.  He has actively participated with the UC Davis Optics Club, as well as outreach for the Optics program at UC Davis.
