Communications Specialist

As a communications specialist, my primary responsibility was the create and implement product communications plans. As an integral member of go-to-market teams, I worked closely with product managers and marketing peers to ensure one story was told in a way that resonated with a variety of stakeholders (consumers, media, investors, analysts, etc).

I strategized, planned, staffed and executed several events and conferences including: Consumer Electronics Shows (CES), CTIA Wireless, CTIA Enterprise and Applications and more. Beyond industry conferences, I coordinated with influential technology outlets to participate in direct-to-consumer events, my responsibilities included everything from from planning to on-site execution.

I also led social media communications for the communications team, ensuring we leveraged channels such as Twitter and Facebook to reach media, consumers and others.

Villanova University

I attended Villanova University for four years, earning a BA in Political Science and minoring in Communications. While at Villanova, I was a member of the Student Government Association and became a brother of Sigma Nu Fraternity. 

For Student Goverment Association, I held the position the Director of Public Relations, leading the communications team on the "Nova Nation" campaign. In order to educate the student population, we published advertorials in the student newspaper (The Villanovan), gave away t-shirts with the new Nova Nation logo on them and held rallies to energize the student body.

While an active member of Sigma Nu Fraternity, I was elected Social Chair of the local fraternity. In addition to planning local events, I liaised with the nearby chapters to organize joint social events including the first White Rose Formal for the Villanova chapter in a decade.
