Engaged in business development, securing projects, and leading assignments at major U.S. and international airlines, aircraft manufacturers, and government aerospace agencies.  Sample project:

 ·  Structured alliance with consulting division of a major international airline. Led joint engagement at a major international airline with revenues exceeding $1 billion, in a turnaround project. ·   Investment advisor to a private-equity firm managing $6 billion portfolio of diversified global investments.Full time for two years, and thereafter in accordance to needs.

Founded and managed this air transportation consulting firm specialized in providing advanced analytical services and developing decision-support systems. Secured and led wide-ranging engagements from logistics to aircraft financing, spanning various functional areas in operations, marketing, finance, and planning. Sample project:

 ·  Designed and developed PC-based Advanced Engine Maintenance Planning Systems (AEMPS) for reliability analysis, removal forecasting, lifetime optimization, and spare management of turbofan powerplants. Implemented the system package at two European airlines. Conducted related workshops for various airlines worldwide.

My engagements have ranged from mergers and acquisitions, strategy, decision analysis, business-process architecture, and change management to tactical operation analysis, pricing and revenue (yield) management, resource planning, and organizational development. My work has included functional areas in finance, operations, marketing, planning, and information technology. I have led acquisitions, restructuring, and turnaround projects, as well as the design and development of decision-support and information-processing systems. 

My specialties include mergers and acquisitions, financing and investment, private equity, venture capital, institutional investment capital, enterprise analytics, quantitative modeling of business processes, integrated planning, revenue (yield) management, financial and business analysis, marketing and sales, operations research and management science, information technology and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications.


I live in San Carlos, California.  I am an avid endurace-sport athlete, and regularly participate in triathlon and marathon races.  In 2002, I was ranked 1,196 in my age group by the USA Triathlon.
