Responsibilities include waiting on customers, answering phones, cleaning, making coffee and more. This job requires me to be outgoing, well-organized, a quick thinker and a team player.
At IUP I was a member of Sigma Sigma Sigma national sorority. I've held various positions within my sorority that are relevant to the field I would like to go into.
-Public Relations Chair: Responsible for producing newsletters, brochures, flyers etc. to promote the sorority and share information on what we're doing
-Alumnae Relations Chair: Responsible for contacting alumnae on a regular basis via e-mail and newsletters and keeping them informed on what's going on in the chapter. Responsible for planning our annual alumnae dinner banquet.
-Social Chair: Responsible for planning events such as recruitment activities and our spring formal.
-Honor Council Chair: Served on the sorority's judicial board.
I am a 21-year-old graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania in Indiana, Pa. I majored in journalism with a concentration in public relations, and a minor in communications media. I am currently looking to enter the PR field and make a career for myself.
