Interest

I am very interested in sports and have experience with playing soccer, ice hockey, lacrosse, field hockey, softball and swimming. I welcome the opportunity to coach extracurricularactivities.

I served as a substitute teacher at various levels throughout the district. I taught at Prospect Park School, Norwood School, Glenolden School and The Kindergarten Academy, grades K-8. The subjects I taught were math, English, history, reading, science, special education and health/physical education.

For the end of the school year in 2013, I worked one-on-one with a seventh grade student. He was having academic and behavioral problems. During our time together, we worked on different strategies and techniques to help him succeed in and out of the classroom setting.

West Chester University

I attended West Chester University in August 2008 to begin studying health and physical education. After two years, I decided to switch my major and pursue elementary education instead. I was also a part of the West Chester Women's Ice Hockey Team during my stay at West Chester. I worked very hard to obtain my degree in four years so that I would graduate with my certification in grades K-6. In May 2012, I graduated with my elementary education degree (K-6).
