Summary

I am an artist who works in a variety of media. By using popular themes such as sexuality, family structure and violence I try to create visual narratives that challenge the way society views these themes. I tend to utlialise the popular culture and media as a way of allowing the viewer to engage with the works.

My works often tell a story about the effects of global cultural interaction over the latter half of the twentieth century. By demonstrating the omnipresent lingering of a ‘corporate world’, my works references post-colonial theory as well as the avant-garde or the post-modern and the left-wing democratic movement as a form of resistance against the logic of the capitalist market system.
