Commanding extensive experience in medical device sales, Jerry Vogel is Director of the Nobel Biocare NobelProcera product line. Managing a sales team of 40 professionals, Jerry Vogel educates both customers and internal staff concerning new products and works in close conjunction with the marketing division to strategically position products as well as design road shows. Since accepting the position in 2008, Mr. Vogel has drafted and distributed technical sales training materials to more than 100 sales staff members as well as customers around the world. Jerry Vogel first joined Nobel Biocare as the Eastern Area Director of Sales in 2004. Overseeing a team of more than 100 sales professionals for the East Coast territory, he maintained responsibility for $100 million in strategic and tactical sales operations. Within a 3-year span, he helped boost sales from $48 million to $100 million. During his tenure as Eastern Area Director, he also led a $5 million construction project, increased profitability by 3%, and nearly eliminated employee turnover. Prior to his post with Nobel Biocare, Jerry Vogel was Vice President of Sales for Masimo Corporation, leading development and implementation of sales strategies geared toward customers across North America. He also participated in creating corporate initiatives addressing antitrust matters and protecting the company’s intellectual property. Jerry Vogel initially joined Masimo Corporation as a Sales Representative, managing the Northeastern U.S. territory from Washington, D.C., to Maine. Previously serving Pyxis Corporation as a Key Account Executive for the Northeast, Jerry Vogel managed sales activities within the New York and New Jersey areas. In this position, he negotiated contracts with purchasing departments, aided senior management in designing strategy for call scripts, and played an instrumental role in developing a product division for supply distribution. His contributions to the company earned recognition from the St. Barnabas Health Care System, which presented him with the St. Barnabas Distinguished Partner Award. Jerry Vogel’s early experience in medical device sales includes positions as Regional Product Specialist for Medex, Inc., and President of Primary Medical Supply. As the founder of Primary Medical Supply, he secured a line of credit to fund the business, recruited employees, supervised all aspects of profit and loss, and generated $2 million in direct sales within 3 years. Jerry Vogel resides in Rutherford, New Jersey. He maintained an active presence in the community for 30 years, coaching football and baseball and running a basketball program for more than 700 local children. For his contributions to local recreation programs, Mr. Vogel was admitted to the Rutherford Recreation Hall of Fame.
