Specifically, I hold a Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning, a Law degree (Juris Doctorate) and a BA in U.S. History with a minor in Education.I also have extensive management skills, experience in planning, land acquisition, economic development, housing, office and mixed-use development. In addition, I managed the zoning and entitlement process for several major developments in the Washington Metropolitan area. I have directed the financial analysis on a project’s feasibility and the return on investment, managed negotiations on land sales and leases with developers, oversees project management and progress, establish and maintain client contact, conduct community outreach, and support the group in overseeing and leading projects from inception to execution to groundbreaking. I had direct responsibility of overseeing financial analysis, developing transaction structures, negotiating the terms of complex real estate development and other projects, and serving as a liaison with other groups within other City agencies and the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Economic Development. I have recent real estate industry experience, have managed a large metropolitan development project, possess a strong understanding of how to move projects forward in a challenging environment, understand public policy objectives and regulatory processes, and be able to develop and deliver on a plan for a successful project.
