CTO / Senior Engineer / Product Manager at Tattle
- Rochester, New York

I've worked closely with the Sales team, Account Management and our customers to continually conceptualize new features, creating and prioritizing our product roadmap. I work closely with vendors and clients, to discuss and secure partnerships and integration opportunities. I have built strong relationships with many of our clients, ensuring their experience with our product is a success and addressing their concerns.
As our team has grown, I am still the lead engineer but I also manage and mentor a growing engineering team of 3 local and 3 distributed developers.
For the first 2 years, I was responsible for everything on the technical side of our business including UI/UX design for our 3 web applications; back-end development on our LAMP and AWS Serverless stacks including CLI tools, API endpoints, real-time email notifications, daily reward notification emails for customers; Linux server management on AWS; real-time on-screen updates with PHP websockets connected to a Node.js server; all front-end development including CSS, HTML and app development with AngularJS.
I assisted the development team in improving their Ruby on Rails application for their clients - primarily focusing on the UI and user experience.
My co-founder and I started a quarterly disc golf subscription service to provide curated disc golf items to our members. We have worked closely with a talented artist to create a unique design each quarter that is printed on a shirt and on the disc.
I was the lead developer on a number of projects using Flex/AS3, the LAMP stack and the MEAN stack. I made framework and environment decisions based on the requirements of the projects we took on. I interfaced with customers regularly, both in brainstorming and conceptualizing features as well as communicating our team's progress.
I was the backend and frontend developer, creating a number of websites for our clients, spanning from small promotional landing pages to full e-commerce solutions on the LAMP stack.
