University liaison for Sony, identified researchers and led R&D groups in search of sponsored research projects. Developed research proposals that led to three grant awards. Administered two “Call for Proposals” requests to top US Engineering Universities, participated in technology reviews to identify the best responses. Drafted a successful Request for Information document to place a prototype energy management system in a DOE sponsored US field trial. Supported an international project team as a Planner for the trial. Devised a strategy to select emerging technology areas for Sony, researched desired technologies and provided reports to R&D teams.

Consumer health care products startup, strategy & planning for $700K of seed funding. Creative concept & development leader for consumer health care products including a non-invasive glucose monitor with a University partner, a wearable UV monitor, wireless temperature monitor, an automatic hand sanitizer. Sourced development partners, provided forecasts of development costs and returns.

Strategic Marketing and Program Management leading to sale of a chemical light company. Key contributor to strategy and operational plans which profitably sold the company for over $100M. Extracted coherent key messages from a chaotic array of existing collateral and product lines. Directed a web site re-design, drafted operations and IP overviews, provided diligence to buyers.
