  • Sustainable Studio Project to create dignified design mock-ups for homeless people's  villages in Bellingham, culminating in an InDesign handbook with schematics.
  • Ninety page group-researched EIA for a local arterial street's safety improvements proposal, as part of an Environmental Impact Assessment Capstone. Also included study of NEPA and SEPA, with detailed investigation into these law's requirements for planners.

  • Planning on Reservations, Land Use Law, Transportation Planning, and additional coursework with emphasis on sustainability, conservation and hands-on practice.

Began as a volunteer for the organization last year and was then recruited to a part-time staff position. Spearhead social media outreach for the Association; assist with email; help with promotion for Coho/US sponsored events; create materials for their website and play at integral role in planning for the 2017 National Cohousing Conference.

Works alongside the company’s founder, Kathryn McCamant, the foremost U.S. authority on cohousing and integral in development of dozens of communities.

Day-to-day tasks furthering cohousing nationally; acting as point-person for our website, social media, and email database; offering outreach and writing skills to communities-in-formation and aiding them with their recruitment, publicity and branding.

Most significant, long-term project: Leading recruitment and implementation for the 500 Communities Program, a year-long training teaching professionals the skills necessary to launch new cohousing projects. Organized three-day Retreat for both the 2015 and 2016 classes, including exercising an overall eye to ensure the weekend's smooth execution.

Led office assessments with faculty/staff to evaluate baseline achievements and highlight increased sustainability potential through our Sustainable Office Certification Program.
