Cuyahoga Community College Foundation

The mission of the Foundation is to secure funding for scholarships and educational program development for Cuyahoga Community College.

  • Foundation Communications, Events and Alumni Relations               2016 – Present
    • Develop and implement communications strategy to support the Foundation’s philanthropic mission
      • Design materials to share the Foundation’s impact with constituents including newsletters, brochures, speeches, digital presentations, proposals, appeal and acknowledgement letters and event-related collateral
      • Partner with the College’s campuses, programs, marketing team, Board of Directors and President’s Office to facilitate donor retention and constituent relationships
      • Support donor stewardship and recognition through printed publications and digital communications
      • Develop an annual digital plan for Foundation website and social media pages
    • Produce events to support donor relations and alumni engagement
      • Create opportunities to raise funds for scholarships and cultivate donors, including scholarship luncheons, galas, naming recognition ceremonies, and dinner and cocktail parties
      • Coordinate internal resources and vendor relationships to produce successful events

    • Recruited, trained and supervised a team of nine employees who developed and executed campaigns to increase media exposure and public awareness for client projects
      • Clients included Walt Disney Pictures, Paramount Pictures, Twentieth Century Fox, Universal Pictures, The Weinstein Company, Food Network, and dozens more
    • Considered the company's "Expert User" for technology and accounting processes due to strong problem-solving skills
