  • While studying in London, I learned the cultural differences of advertising and I developed an understanding of the complexities of translating advertising between countries and cultures. 
  • I Utilized international marketing and communications knowledge to collaborate with agencies such as: Euro RSCG and Bell Pottinger
  • I managed a group project that focused on the business of international advertising. During this project, I conducted consumer testing by walking the streets of London and interacting with local shoppers to receive input on advertising and how it effects them.

Oasis Brands Account Service Intern

  • As an account service intern I have increased my strategic thinking and problem solving skills within the agency and with clients. I have learned the foundation for communicating effectively and efficiently with clients. I have assisted in the creation of creative briefs along with status documents and conference reports for client meetings. I developed promotional ideas for new business and worked on a project for DFW airports to help them easily track and identify their healthy food options for travelers.
  • In my time at Moroch, I also worked in the public relations department providing assistance with competitive tracking and monitoring social media and blog sites to provide the client with any updates regarding their brand. I also helped creatively develop a storyboard for a potential viral video per the clients request upon launching their new brand.

National Student Advertising Competition Creative Team - Task Manager  Sept. 2011 to May 2012 

  • As a member of the National Student Advertising Competition team for OSU I assisted in researching our target market from a case study provided by a corporate sponsor. Our team researched the product and its competition, while identifying any potential problems. As a task manager for the creative team, I assisted in coming up with four different campaign strategies to present to the team for approval. Upon approval, I created gas pump toppers, building wraps, Pandora skins and copy for ads. Our team used critical thinking and creativity to ensure a successful campaign that was pitched to a panel of judges.

  • Innovative State FirmChildren's Miracle Network - Team member Aug. 2011 to May 2012As a member of the Innovative State Firm, I participate in weekly meetings to discuss, organize and strategically plan the mission for our clients. As a member, I also meet with local clients to create, secure and coordinate communications plans. I assist in developing fundraising strategies, marketing plans and promotions to satisfy the needs of the clients.   
  • Ambassador for the School of Media & Strategic CommunicationsMay 2011 to Present As an ambassador, I conduct tours for future students, VIP guests and student organizations that may attend Oklahoma State University.  Ambassadors are enthusiastic and encouraging individuals who strive to educate prospective students while understanding, guiding and leading them in the direction they want to go.    
  • Oklahoma State Ad Club Member - Sept. 2009 to PresentTreasurer - Sept. 2011 to May 2012 As a member of Ad Club I participate in monthly board meetings to plan, organize and execute future club meetings. I also help our organization by recruiting prospective students to join Ad Club. I assist in the promotions of new events, meetings, guest speakers and agency tours.
