  • Planning and setting up high school visits as efficiently as possible to minimize long driving hours
  • Registering for college fairs and ensuring payment was received by the appropriate institution
  • Tracking invoices/receipts/folios to file travel expense reports for the accounts payable dept.
  • Maintaining relationships with counselors, parents, and students through email and phone calls
  • Telecounseling students, uploading, updating, and maintaining important student files
  • Notifying the office supervisor of any discrepancies
  • Making accurate admit/deny decisions in order for applicants to receive the appropriate response letter
  • On occasion, covering for a recruiter/counselor unable to attend a high school visit or college fair

I developed excellent communication and time management skills, along with experience implementing organized events to build brand awareness and product interest.

As a freelance blogger for a hotel management company, I was responsible for writing and publishing 10 blog posts a week. There are a total of 5 hotels and I wrote two posts a week for each. The topics I covered included special events, vacation tips, local restaurant/bars, things to do and included specific SEO keywords to help increase the rankings of each hotel on search pages like Google. I was also responsible for sharing the posts on each hotel’s G+ and Facebook accounts to encourage guest interaction with the hotel and increase visibility on Social Media.
