I would like to obtain a teaching position at an Elementary School in the Polk County area where I can share my passion for teaching children a lifelong love of learning, as well as demonstrate my ability to apply effective teaching strategies in a well-managed classroom.

  • Developed and implemented  lesson plan for an 8th Grade Honors Biology Class using a 3-tiered lesson plan on Darwin's theory of Evolution.  Utilized cooperative learning and use of Frayer diagrams to maximize student participation and understanding
