Accomplished financial industry leader and advisor Jeffrey Shover has enjoyed a successful career in finance management spanning multiple decades. With a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Economics, Jeffrey Shover began his professional career at FedEx Corporation, where he served for 10 years as a Global Sales Executive. Next he joined financial advisory services with an appointment as a Vice President and Wealth Management Advisor at the firm of Merrill Lynch, where, in addition to providing his clients with useful and pertinent information regarding their finances, he served as an intermediary figure between upper and lower levels of management on a number of important corporate internal issues. Following successful work with Merrill Lynch for 17 years, Jeffrey Shover transitioned to the financial firm of Morgan Stanley Smith Barney in 2009. Currently, Jeffrey Shover serves Morgan Stanley Smith Barney as a Senior Vice President and Wealth Management Advisor in addition to holding certifications as a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor and Certified Financial Manager. Working with high net worth clients in the greater Fort Lauderdale, Florida, area, Jeffrey Shover guides these clients through the various complexities and processes associated with such financial transactions as tax management and compliance, estate planning and management, and other topics. Jeffrey Shover serves on the 70-member, invite-only Professional Advisory Council of the Community Foundation of Broward, a group of technical professionals whose aim it is to strengthen the presence of the foundation in the surrounding community. In the past 25 years, due to the thoughtful management of the Community Foundation of Broward, the foundation has dispensed roughly $45 million in grant money to the local community and secure $90 million in assets. Jeffrey Shover supports such charities and non-profit organizations as the Women in Distress of Broward County, the Women’s Cancer Association, Lambda Legal, and Backpacks for Kids, among others.
