I started Inside Charm City in 2007 as a general interest news and event blog for the Baltimore Metro area. Since then, the traffic for the site has reached an average number of unique visitors totaling over 1000 per day. Local media coverage has grown for the site, including multiple radio interviews for me, most notably on WBAL AM. I also had a piece on National Security Agency recruitment on college campuses published by the Danger Room blog at

The Baltimore Sun gave Inside Charm City a Mobbie (Maryland's Oustanding Blogs) Award for Best News Blog in 2009. Inside Charm City covers local events through a mix of news aggregation, live on-site reporting, and posts from other authors.
