Key Accomplishments:Successfully redesigned and streamlined production cells utilizing lean manufacturing tools which eliminated 3 production lines, increased productivity by over 200%, and decreased per unit cost by 24%. Improved total plant efficiency from 72% to 90%. Established annual savings of 1.2 million through process and manufacturing improvements. Instrumental in continuous improvement of business by implementing lean process training for personnel and providing knowledge and support with 5S, seven wastes, value stream mapping, kaizen, tpm, smed, poka yoke, and single piece flow implementations.

Key Accomplishments: Strategically implemented robotic solder cells to replace hand soldering which saved $132,000 per year and increased productivity by 400%. Efficiently installed Tox joining cells to replace spot welding operation which saved $250,000 per year and increased productivity by 350%. Implemented pre painted steel, tooling, and processes to replace costly powder coating line which saved $200,000 per year in materials and utility usage. Replaced facility HID lighting with fluorescent T-8 fixtures improving light output by 45% and saving $96,000 per year on electrical cost.
