I had played many roles at Square D over the years. I started as an Assembler and rapidly advanced to a Tester. Some of the Product Lines included Adjustable Frequency Motor Control, Crane Control (which became EC&M), Low Voltage Starters for Motor Control, and in recent years, Switch Boards, and Switch Gear. As a Senior Designer, I created drawings for new parts, fixed existing parts as required. Created and maintained Assembly drawings and Documentation on Products. I have interfaced with Engineers, Vendors, Assembers, Testers, and Customers in the performance of these functions.
My earlier years were engaged heavily in Sheet Metal. Spending many hours on the floor with the Shears, Amadas, Turrets, and Brakes and with the guys that welded for me. Later years leaned toward Bussing issues with Switch boards. I have used Medusa and ProE early on going to Autocad and Inventor lately. I have over 10 years of Autocad and 5years of Inventor 3D modeling. I have been exposed to Solid Works though I have never really used it.
