An experienced attorney and business leader, Jeff Gagie has acquired diverse career experience in civil litigation, resource development, and community outreach. Currently, Jeff Gagie is pursuing his passion for leading nonprofit fundraising initiatives. His recent experience in this area includes serving as President and an Executive Committee Member of the Board of Directors for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Kalamazoo. His leadership role directly contributed to raising $3.5 million for the organization. In 2010, he participated in the Advanced Leadership Program at the University of Michigan Ross School of Business. Most recently, in March 2011, he earned a Certificate in Fund Raising Management from the Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University. Continuing to develop his network of contacts in nonprofit resource development, Jeff Gagie maintains an active membership with the Association of Fundraising Professionals. Jeff Gagie established his career as an attorney in 1994 when he joined the law firm of York & Miller, PC in Kalamazoo, Michigan as an Associate. He subsequently served as an Associate at Plunkett & Cooney, PC before establishing his present solo practice. Previously offering a wide range of civil litigation services, he currently focuses exclusively on criminal defense. Mr. Gagie also acquired valuable experience in fundraising and community organizing during two races for District Court Judge in the 8th and 9th District Courts. A longtime resident of Kalamazoo, Jeff Gagie earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and his Master of Business Administration from Western Michigan University. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 1994, and he was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan the same year.
