With a substantial background in accounting and taxes, Jeffrey L. Elverman regularly displays his extensive talent in planning for small to mid-size businesses. Jeffrey Elverman currently directs Elverman Advisory Services (EAS), a business advisory and accounting firm in Chicago, Illinois. EAS comprises an experienced group of lawyers, accountants, and bankers, all equipped to handle a variety of procedures. The EAS team specializes in trust planning, estate planning, succession planning, tax planning and compliance, fiduciary planning, corporate transactions, contract analysis, and asset protection. Over the course of his career, Jeffrey Elverman has recorded upwards of $1 billion in acquisitions. He has assisted high-profile companies such as Walgreen Co., Unilever, Henry Schein, Inc., and the Penske Corporation. Jeffrey Elverman has incorporated his passion for chartering family-owned enterprises into the EAS mission statement, pledging to supply these businesses with effective succession and exit arrangements. Following his graduation from Carthage College in Kenosha, Wisconsin, Jeffrey L. Elverman joined leading professional-services organization Ernst & Whinney, now known as Ernst & Young. During his two-year tenure with the firm, he passed the Certified Public Accountant exam in his first attempt. From 1992 to 2004, Jeffrey Elverman represented the Chicago legal-services firm Quarles & Brady LLP, brokering the agreements of many corporate contracts. Jeffrey Elverman later joined the offices of Michael Best & Friedrich, where he negotiated on behalf of more than 450 parties with high net worths. In the position of Corporate Specialist with Darrow Automotive Group, Jeffrey Elverman assumed a variety of contractual duties. He assisted the Wisconsin-based automobile dealership in multiple acquisitions of assets in other states. Jeffrey Elverman graduated from the University of Notre Dame Law School, from which he received his Juris Doctor. Over the past 20 years, Jeffrey Elverman has supported multiple charitable initiatives, including the United Way, the American Cancer Society, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, and the American Heart Association. Additionally, he has served on the governing boards of the Boy Scouts of America and the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin in Milwaukee.
