Jeff Baranack, DVM, leads a full and active life. A respected veterinarian in his community, Dr. Baranack commands over two decades of diverse clinical experience. In addition to a thriving career in animal care, he maintains a rich array of personal and recreational pursuits. Fascinated with astronomy, he is also a frequent traveler and particularly enjoys visiting United States national parks, such as the Grand Canyon National Park and the Everglades National Park. Additionally, Jeff Baranack, DVM, has played a number of international golf courses, like St. Andrews in Scotland and The Jasper Park Lodge Golf Course in Canada. Relocating with his family to Tuscarawas County, Ohio, in 1990, Dr. Baranack continues to reside in the region with his wife, four children, three cats, and two dogs. In his free time, Jeff Baranack, DVM, engages in a variety of athletic interests. An avid golfer and fisherman, he also loves watching a number of professional sports. A dedicated fan of the Pittsburgh Penguins, Jeff Baranack, DVM, also counts the Cleveland Indians, Pittsburgh Pirates, and The Ohio State Buckeyes among his favorite teams. Additionally, he possesses a longstanding interest in philanthropic work and has participated in a 5K run in support of Habitat for Humanity International. Jeff Baranack, DVM, also continues to partner with numerous animal rescue groups, regularly contributing his professional services by offering emergency animal care. Jeff Baranack, DVM, maintains professional affiliations with Ohio Veterinary Medical Association and American Veterinary Medical Association. He graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in the top of his class and received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1989. He also holds a BS in Zoology from Kent State University, where he graduated magna cum laude. Jeff Baranack, DVM, presently serves as Associate Veterinarian for Oak Pointe Veterinary Care, located in Tuscarawas County, and Turkeyfoot Family Pet Center, located in Summit County. Oak Pointe Veterinary Care is located in Dover, and Turkeyfoot Family Pet Center is based in Akron. Dr. Baranack has lent his talents to Oak Pointe Veterinary Care since 2007, and he joined the team at Turkeyfoot in 2011. Jeff Baranack, DVM, offers a full selection of veterinary and related pet care services at both facilities, and he continues to maintain a reputation for providing compassionate care.
