Interest

The Great Outdoors.  Anything to do with Sailing.  Love racquet sports and golf.  Of course my grandkids who delight me with renewed enthusiasm.

Objective

Summary

I am very diversified with expertise in sales, marketing, management and driving skills (I hold a class A CDL).  I have been very successful in white color positions and enjoy many blue color jobs as well.  If I am not wearing a shirt and tie I can be found using my hands in all areas of construction and equipment operating, driving a truck or bus.  I am knowledgeable in all areas of maintenance, including electrical, plumbing and mechanicals.  I can fix just about anything and enjoy challenges of all shapes and sizes.  I pride myself in always having a professional appearance.

The Village Market (VM) is a subsidiary of Southern Adventists University in Collegedale Tennessee.  The VM is a hybrid store selling grocery items and a full array of natural and vegetarian items.  While employed at the VM, I have managed the Deli and Bakery as well as spearheaded a full marketing plan.  In addition I have served on the remodel committee.

Joined Coldwell Banker and got my Real Estate License in March 2004.  I was recruited by the Number One agent in the County and Number Three agent in the region for the past 5 years.  Won the 'Rookie' award after my first year and have ranked among the top agents in Washington County since.  Formed Paragon Real Estate Services and have done over $50,000,000 in sales.

Sold Life, Health and Disability Insurance along with investment products such as IRA's and Mutual Funds.  Graduated from the American College as a Chartered Financial Consultant.  Won awards for salesmanship every year and was the state's leading salesperson 4 years in a row.  Job entailed acquiring new accounts (personal and business) and doing a full financial analysis and recommending and selling products as needed.  By the time I left I had over 1,000 clients.

Joined a major publisher for the purpose of getting off the ground a print advertising division.  Wrote Rate Cards and traveled the country selling print advertising.  Took four (4) publications which had no advertising revenue when I arrived to over $1,000,000 annually when I left.  Built a core of advertisers through personal and consistant service that are still clients today.  In addition to ad sales I also served as the  Marketing Representative for the Health Journal "Vibrant Life."

Was involved with a start up Infant Formula that had less then 10% of the Atlanta Market when I arrived and over 90% when I left.  Innovotated a new system to accomodate Doctors in the transition of samples to patients that reduced office staff time to a minimum.  My innovation became a standard in the industry for new sample products.  Called on every Supermarket and Drug Store company for placement of our product on their shelves.  Had great success and achieved shelf space in all (100%) of the large Supermarkets and Drug Stores in Northern Georgia and East Tennessee.
